I was born in Atlanta, ironically at a hospital minutes from from Blueprint Church. When I was four years old my family left Atlanta and moved frequently throughout my childhood years because of my father's job. I grew up in a strong Christian home with lots of love. As a youth, I myself in living a moral life and staying out of trouble. People were impressed by immense bible knowledge that my parents had taught me since I was a baby. However, inwardly my heart was very dark, I was insecure and lonely. Living in the midst of the emotionally messy space of being a middle-schooler, I realized the faith that I claimed to have in Christ was simply borrowed from my parents. After wrestling many months with unhappiness and despair, I cried out to God when I was alone in my room to see if He was real, and subsequently submitted my life to Christ. He completely changed my heart and gave me a genuine love for Him and others.
My husband and I moved to Atlanta in 2013 and settled at Blueprint Church a few weeks after our move. Over the years, we have grown so much spiritually by learning, serving, and walking alongside men and women who love God and aim to live a life submitted to His word. We are grateful for the love and support we have experienced through our Blueprint family through some of life's greatest blessings of having more kids and dark valleys of death of a loved one. It is my joy to get to know the women of the church, encourage them in their faith and point them to comfort and the truth of God's word. My husband and I have four amazing children under the age of 8.
