After growing up in the church all of his life, at the age of 18 years old, Rob Harden acknowledged Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He continued to lead in music ministry in his native town of Jersey City, New Jersey . He ministered in several churches and community outreach organizations throughout northern New Jersey.
In 1991 he married his teenage sweetheart, Shondell, whom he met while they both served in the Jersey City Community Choir. Together they relocated to Atlanta, GA to start the next phase of their lives. Rob joined the music department of Beulah Baptist Church where he served for one year. He then accepted a minister of music position at Unity of Faith Christian Ministries where he served for the next 18 years. During that time, he began a quest to be equipped with sound biblical doctrine. He was also appointed as leader of the deacon’s ministry and was very active in ministering to the men of the church. Rob was later ordained as a licensed minister and elder of the church. Rob and Shondell heard the call to learn inner city ministry to a younger audience. This led them to the newly planted Blueprint Church.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
They found this assembly to be a refreshing blend of urban expression rooted in sound theology. The family serves in various capacities at Blueprint as well as hosting a Missional Community on the east side of town.
