I grew up in a Christian home and met Jesus when I was very young. Growing up, I always thought I would be a teacher and a missionary living among an un-reached people group somewhere in the 10/40 window. And while the Father may one day lead me to do that, for now, He has different plans.
I first came to Atlanta in the summer of 2013 to do an internship with the North American Mission Board. The internship connected our team with Blueprint and I immediately recognized that this community was different. This family of believers was more committed to living out the gospel than any group I had ever seen.
Once I started getting connected with Blueprint, the Lord made it very clear to me that He wanted me to be here. After a little fear, some changed plans, and a lot of nerves, I made the decision to move to Atlanta and intern for the church. What started as a short term internship, soon grew into a long-term commitment. The changes have been hard, but so amazing. It is the most amazing privilege to be a part of mobilizing our family to take the gospel to our city, to other parts of the country, and all across the world.
I am a newly married to my husband, Andrew, who works as a civil engineer for a construction firm outside the city. We love to coach soccer in our neighborhood and hang out with teenagers. My favorite parts of my job are writing, helping train short term mission trip teams, and getting to see behind the scenes as God works in our human brokenness to do incredible things.
